Hi Raluca , tell us what you do and a little about your family and background as a work at home mum!
I'm a home educating mum of 2, who lives in London. My journey with working from home started when I began my maternity leave with my second child, having realised that I don't have the smallest idea on how to be a mother, as my firstborn had been in nursery from the age of 8 months old until he was 2. Since than I have looked at many ways to work from home and have started several businesses like my photography business and the pre-loved market, but I realised that the easiest way to reach my financial goals was to be part of a network marketing company, selling something that I am really passionate about: travel.
What advice would you give to your 21 year old self?
Do not go to university! You will waste time and money! Instead, join a network marketing company, invest in personal development and attend networking events.
Can you give us 3 tips for juggling motherhood, life and business?
Take it easy! Don’t be hard on yourself or your family. Daily progress is better than perfection, no matter how small the progress is (maybe just listening to an audio book).
Tell us something no one ever warned you about being a work at home mama!
It can get lonely! Make sure you find your tribe. Success is more enjoyable when all your friends get to share in your success as well, as in be part of a team.
What is the best thing about being a WAHM?
I can enjoy my children and make money in the same time. I don’t need to sacrifice children or a career.
Can you discuss something you are working on right now to improve your work/life balance?
I am currently setting up networking event for mums in business in North West London. I love being part of a mastermind. Sometimes we don’t see the most obvious mistakes, but others will. I also plan on setting up a co-working space for mums, where they can bring their kids along.
The best advice anyone ever gave you?
Invest in your mind because you are your greatest asset.
What WAHM has inspired you lately?
Avital from Parenting Junkie

How do you practice regular self care?
Lots of time in the park or nature, prayer time with friends and lots of crazy dancing with the kids.
